HOW DO I REGISTER?
Scroll down and click on the course image underneath the "Register Here" heading. Once we receive your payment, we'll send you a link and password to the course page and an invitation to the Facebook group. This may take up to 24 hours.
WHEN IS IT AND HOW LONG IS IT?
This is a 3-part cumulative course, meaning each new lesson builds on the previous lesson. The videos are all pre-recorded meaning you can watch them on your own time as often as you like.
Each video is about an hour and a half, which includes over an hour of instruction followed by Q+A.
WHAT IS IT?
A number of colleagues have been reaching out to me over the last several months asking for tips on how to improve their videos. They understand this pandemic is going to plague us for months and maybe years and so they recognize the importance of high quality video content, especially with the high holidays fast approaching. I've tried to help as many as I could, but I haven't been able to keep up.
So I’ve put together a course in order to give as many people as possible one place to learn everything needed to start making immediate and dramatic improvements in video quality. It doesn’t matter who you are, what equipment you own, whether you’re afraid of technology or a technology wizard, whether you’re making live or pre-recorded videos, I’m going to walk you through literally everything I do, with live demonstrations from my apartment and sharing my screen so you can literally follow along with me.

Anyone who knows they need to improve their video content, and wants to fast track their progress. It doesn't matter whether you're a musician, clergy, executive staff, public speaker, whether you have any previous knowledge or special equipment. I USE A PC/ANDROID/MAC/IPHONE DOES THAT MATTER?
Nope! I've designed the course so that no matter which device or operating system, you'll get the information you need.
That being said, I work on a Mac and iPhone, so the screen shares will be in the Apple ecosystem, but most of the settings occur either online or within the applications which look and operate the same on both operating systems.

WHAT MATERIAL WILL BE COVERED?
Lesson 1 walks you through changing the settings within the Zoom webinar application, followed by video basics and camera settings to maximize your video quality on each platform.
Lesson 2 covers external concepts such as camera placement, room optimization, and lighting.
Lesson 3 covers audio, advanced hardware and settings, and other miscellaneous tips for continued improvement.
DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE?
You probably have everything you need already. If you have successfully joined a zoom meeting with audio and video, then you have everything you need, which is a device that has a microphone, a camera, the Zoom application, and the Facebook application.
This course will be focusing on Zoom and Facebook so if you would like to use those platforms, please be sure to create an account and download those applications in advance of the first lesson.
You may decide you want to upgrade your hardware either before, during, or after the course. I'll be demonstrating the concepts throughout the course on hardware that I own, but the course is specifically designed to give you the tools you need no matter what devices or hardware you own.
